The kimono and the yukata is the most recognizable and instantly memorable symbol of Japan. However, this beautiful garment can be intimidating to a new comer to the culture or those curious about it. Fear no longer! Come and learn how to dress in the simple summer yukata all the way up to the fabulous and often complicated furisode. Learn about the history of the garment and certain techniques to create it and the accessories to go with it. You’ll be sure to walk away knowing a lot more about it and confident in starting to learn on your own!
