Martin R. Geoghegan is the principal of the Henri A. Yelle Elementary School in Norton, Massachusetts. Marty started his career as a high school and middle school English teacher before making his way into administration. He is the Past-President of the Massachusetts ASCD Board of Directors and has been the Elementary and Middle Level Chair on the MSAA Board for over five years. He founded and moderates the #MSAAchat each month for all educators. He was a MassCUE Pathfinder Award winner for 2016. His school was selected as a 2017 Model School. Marty enjoys spreading the positive ideas of education both locally and nationally at conferences including NAESP, NASSP, ASCD, Leader to Leader, ICLE, MSAA, and MassCUE. He lives in Scituate with his wife and two sons where he tries to carve out some time to be with them when he's not Tweeting.
